All About Insurance Presents The 2nd Annual Sock-Tober Sock Drive
At All About Insurance, we make it a priority to enrich the local areas we serve. This year, we will be supporting local organizations across North Carolina to provide socks to those in need within our communities. Presented by All About Insurance, The Sock-Tober Sock Drive collects socks to benefit local non-profits and the homeless community. Please visit one of our 12 locations to make a donation starting on October 3rd and running through the holiday season in December. With the temps dropping soon, we all know how cold it can get at night in North Carolina. We want to provide as many folks with warm socks as we can.
Reflecting on Last Year’s Success
Last year, thanks to a generous donation from Kayser-Roth of Alamance County, we were able to donate over 10,000 socks to local shelters and donation centers, making a significant difference in our community. We are motivated to build on this success and reach new heights in our 2nd Annual Sock Drive.

Why Your Participation Matters
Donating socks is a simple yet impactful way to support individuals experiencing homelessness. Socks are not only a basic need but also a crucial component in maintaining health and well-being. By participating in our sock drive, you are contributing to:
Enhancing Comfort: For those who are homeless, having clean and comfortable socks can make a significant difference in their daily lives.
Promoting Health: Proper footwear can prevent various foot ailments and infections, contributing to overall health and well-being.
Boosting Morale: Receiving new socks can uplift spirits and provide a sense of dignity and normalcy to those experiencing hardship.
Fostering Community Support: Your contribution symbolizes community solidarity and a collective effort to support our neighbors in need.
Join Us in Making a Difference!
From October 3rd through the holiday season in December, we invite you to visit one of our 12 locations to make a donation. Let’s unite to spread warmth and comfort throughout North Carolina during the chilly nights.
Did you know socks are the most needed item at homeless shelters? Although they are highly requested, they are the least donated item. People very rarely donate socks when donating old clothes. Most of us throw them away.
What Condition of Socks are Accepted?
We will accept new and clean lightly used socks. Please no holes, worn out, or dirty/smelly socks.
1. When it's cold out, frostbite can happen in 30 minutes or less. Having good socks can prevent this.
2. Wearing the right socks is important for foot health. Foot problems are prominent at homeless shelters because of this.
3. Clean and proper-fitting socks are essential to healthy and happy feet.
4. Having the right socks can improve blood flow and circulation, which protects feet from the elements.
Let’s Spread Warmth Together!
With the collective effort of our passionate staff, clients, and communities throughout North Carolina, we aspire to bring warmth and comfort to those most in need this fall. With the help of our amazing and passionate staff and our clients throughout North Carolina, we hope to provide socks to those most in need this fall.
